The hotel had a lot of potential and was clean. The location was fantastic, being halfway between Toronto and Montreal. The staff were kind and caring. It was a relatively quiet and remote location.
Nothing negative to say.

Our stay at Kenney Rideau was a pleasant surprise. The location was remote and peaceful, providing a much-needed escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The staff, especially the owners, were kind and accommodating, making us feel welcome right from the start. Although the rooms were a bit outdated and in need of renovation, they were clean and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The amenities may be minimalistic, but for someone like us who values simplicity, it was perfect. I would definitely recommend this hotel for those seeking a quiet and relaxed getaway.

Had a great Christmas at this hotel! The box breakfast was absolutely amazing, full of delicious goodies. The location of the hotel is stunning, with beautiful scenery and interesting lock operations to watch. Another advantage was the friendly and helpful staff, who made sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable.
There were a few aspects that could be improved. The hotel itself seemed a bit old and in need of some renovations.
